This Privacy Policy explains how McIntyre Elwell & Strammer General Contractors, Inc., d/b/a ME&S General Contractors, Inc., a Florida corporation (“ME&S,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit mesgc.com (the “Site”) or contact us through it.
1. Information We Collect
A. Information you provide
- Contact form. When you use the form on our Contact Us page, we collect your name, email address, the subject, and your message.
- Job applications. When you use the job application form on our Careers, Employment Opportunities, or Resume Upload pages, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the position you select, your message, and the résumé (PDF) you upload.
- Subcontractor pre-qualification. If you download our Pre-Qualification Packet and email it back to us, we receive the company and contact information you include.
- Email and phone. If you contact us directly, we receive the information you choose to give us.
B. Information collected automatically
Our web server records standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, pages requested, and the date and time of your visit. Some pages use third-party services that receive information about your visit, including your IP address:
- Google reCAPTCHA, which protects our forms from spam and abuse by analyzing how visitors interact with the Site;
- Google Maps, which displays our location on the Contact Us page;
- YouTube, which plays a video embedded on our home page;
- Google Fonts, which delivers the fonts used to display the Site.

2. How We Use Information
- To respond to your questions and communicate with you about projects;
- To review job applications, contact applicants, and make hiring decisions;
- To review subcontractor qualifications and maintain our subcontractor database for future invitations to bid;
- To protect the Site and our forms from spam, fraud, and abuse;
- To operate and maintain the Site, keep business records, and comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell visitors’ personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share information only:
- With service providers that help us run the Site and our business, such as our website hosting and email providers, and Google (reCAPTCHA, Maps, YouTube, and Fonts);
- With project owners, architects, and other project partners when needed for a project you are involved in;
- When required by law or legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety or that of others;
- In connection with a sale, merger, or reorganization of our business.
4. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including any period required by law or for our business, project, and employment records, and then delete or de-identify it.
5. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we receive. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. Please do not include Social Security numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive information in a form, résumé, or email unless we have arranged a secure method with you.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information you have sent us, or to stop contacting you, by emailing us at the address below. Residents of some U.S. states may have additional rights under their state’s privacy law, such as the right to know, access, correct, or delete personal information and to opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising. Whether or not a particular law applies to us, we will respond to reasonable requests. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
7. Children
The Site is intended for adults and businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
