McIntyre Elwell & Strammer General Contractors, Inc. (ME&S) is a Sarasota, Florida-based company that specializes in all types of Commercial Building Construction throughout the State of Florida. Founded in 1987, ME&S has successfully completed well over $1 Billion in construction contracts and employs approximately 80 people, including more than 20 superintendents.

ME&S excels in new construction as well as renovation work. Most of our renovation work is performed in operational facilities where safety and cleanliness are paramount. ME&S has a diverse portfolio with extensive experience in retail, healthcare, educational, religious, and industrial construction. Most of the Company’s work is for repeat clients on a negotiated basis including decades long relationships with Publix Super Markets, Sarasota and Manatee County Schools, Beall’s, and Whole Foods Market.

The Company’s owners combine almost 200 years of proven commercial building construction experience and at least one of our principals actively participates in each project we build. We are a true team player that strives to build long-term relationships and looks out for our Client’s best interest first and foremost. We have never been involved in any litigation with a Client or Design Professional and have never been assessed any damages for delay. We pride ourselves in completing projects on time and under budget.
